Sanjeevani Environment

Main Window: 
After the user has logged in the main Sanjeevani Window is displayed. A window on left displays the List of Hospitals involved in the Sanjeevani Tele-Communication Project. By selecting individual hospitals, the user can see list of Local Patients and the list of patients referred by the respective Hospital. The list displays six Patient Parameters: namely Patient ID, Patient Name, Date of Birth, Sex, Name of Father/Husband, and a unique field denoting Status. Status denotes whether the Doctor has seen Patient File, has returned an Expert Opinion, or has sent the record for Expert Opinion.

The look and feel of Sanjeevani User Interface adheres to Windows Standards. Even inexperienced user should have a short learning curve getting used to the Application 

In WYSIWYG environment user does not have to learn any control characters or tags, but he or she can operate on the application through clicking on buttons, icons etc.

  Options:

  • Option 1 is the toolbar, which contains the buttons like new, open, find etc. when user clicks on these buttons the corresponding form is displayed.
  • Option 2 displays the name of the local hospital.
  • Option 3 displays the names of the local and remote hospitals in the tree structure. Whenever the user clicks on the local / remote hospital, the list of the existing patients / the referred patients is displayed in window 8.
  • Option 4 displays the details of the files and reports that are associated with the patient. These files/reports can be opened directly by double clicking them.
  • Option 5 is the status bar which shows the status of the application, date.
  • Option 6 is the title bar which displays the name of the window.
  • Option 7 displays the name of the doctor who has currently logged in.
  • Option 8 displays the list of the existing patients / the referred patients. Whenever the user double clicks on the patient, the EPR opens for the corresponding patient. The Patient List can be sorted on any of the six Patient parameters displayed, simply by clicking on the specific Parameter Header. First click sorts the list in ascending order, and then every click reverses the sorting order i.e. the second click sorts the list in descending order.
